Description:
At MaxLite, our vision is to transform the way people experience light. We are seeking a Talent Acquisition Recruiter to join our rapidly growing LED lighting company and support bringing in the best people!

Under general supervision, you will use your knowledge and skills, experience and education to provide professional recruiting services. Recruits, interviews, and screens candidates to fill existing and future job openings. Develops a strong network of talent using multiple methods. Maintains strong communication with internal hiring teams and candidates to obtain, clarify and provide facts and information.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Meet with internal managers to determine talent needs, develop a multi-faceted recruitment strategy and a defined interview process.
  • Source active and passive candidates using multiple methods and resources including, but not limited to: applicants, online databases, employee referrals, and internal candidates.
  • Screen all candidates for qualifications, motivational fit, detailed compensation history, relocation needs, and availability, etc.
  • Refer short-listed candidates to hiring manager; makes recommendations regarding hiring of candidates and facilitates in all stages throughout the selection process.
  • In accordance with company guidelines and in coordination with HR, recommend compensation packages for offers.
  • Ensure completion of all pre-hire processes including, but not limited to: preparation of offer letters, conducting references and initiating drug screens, and background checks and monitoring to ensure company requirements are met for all assigned new hires.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with hiring managers to stay abreast of current and future department trends and business initiatives that could impact hiring needs.
  • On-board all new hires.
  • Supports other HR-related activities as assigned.

What we look for:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organization Development or related field required
  • Knowledge of the lighting industry strongly preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Talent Acquisition role
  • Experience recruiting in a rapid growth environment preferred
  • Experience coordinating schedules
  • Experience with full-cycle recruiting
  • Knowledge of ADP Workforce Now preferred

Description:
Are you looking to excel in your career within a rapidly growing LED Tech company? MaxLite is looking for a Product Manager of Lamps Division to join its West Caldwell NJ headquarters office, conveniently located just 20 miles from New York City!

In your role as a Product Manager at MaxLite, you will have the opportunity to utilize your expertise in developing strategic plans for markets within the Lamps division! The right incumbent will assist in guiding business development and advance MaxLite's lamp lighting products by acting in the capacity of a Subject Matter Expert and Customer Advocate for MaxLite!

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with contract manufacturers and Maxlite's sourcing team to enhance and improve Maxlite's lamp product portfolio
  • Drive Maxlite's sales channel business development through prospecting, customer presentations, and guiding profitable sales by meeting customer needs
  • Guide the refinement of existing products as well as the development of future LED Lighting products to meet the market's needs
  • Assist in the preparation of sales proposals; negotiate contracts with MaxLite customers directly and through a network of independent sales representatives and account managers
  • Meet/exceed pre-determined sales goals
  • Analyze and provide suggestions on market dynamics including: changing market conditions, competitive trends with respect to specifications, pricing and applications
  • Work effectively with clients and product management, engineering, marketing, customer care and other MaxLite support functions to profitably satisfy mutual goals
  • Research and analyze metrics from MaxLite customers in order to maximize sales and ensure the process is operating effectively and efficiently

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering
  • 3-5 years' experience working in Lamps
  • Energetic approach to researching and solving client issues
  • Superior customer service & problem solving skills
  • Outstanding listening, comprehension and oral/written communication
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced sales environment and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team environment
